Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city arrival – Explore Sai Gon Cuisines on bike (Meals: Dinner)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our driver will welcome you at airport lobby, holding your name board and transfer you to your hotel in the center of the city. Free at leisure until late after noon.
Around 05.30 PM in the afternoon, our guide will take you on amazing street foods tour. You are a foody and expect to explore the best of Sai Gon culinary. How about taking a big fun ride around Saigon and see its lively daily life as well as tasting all the best foods the city has to offer? Saigon has long been rated one of the best cities for street food in the world. Let’s get on the motorbikes and give it a go to taste the most amazing dishes Saigon has to offer. This tour is tailored to give our foreign guests the most unique and authentic experience of Saigon’s cuisine. Our guide will ride the bike and take you to the most popular eateries for locals, most of which are out of the touristy area and located in hidden alleyways. Besides the part of all delicious and unlimited food, you can also enjoy the city as we will zip around on the bikes from place to place for the dishes while receiving an insiders’ view into the culture that defines Saigon from our guides, who are so much passionate in showing you the bests of their city. Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city – Cai Be - Tan Phong - Ancient House (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Discovery what it is that makes Mekong Delta so special with our daily Cai Be Floating Market Tour. This tour gives you a fantastic opportunity of seeing how the Mekong Delta people get on with their busy life. For people living in Mekong, their lives are attached to rivers, water. Almost activities could be organized on river as living, working, market gathering… You will be introduced to their beautiful lifestyle when cruising among the local boats, biking around the village and interact with locals here.
Around 08.00 Am in the morning, our guide and car will pick you up from your hotel in Center Ho Chi Minh City and start drive to Vinh Long town. When arrival, board on a local motorboat and star cruising on Mekong River. Our guide will introduce to you the floating market, trading culture and floating houses of local here. Since Mekong Delta land is split by huge cannel systems, you will then take a rowing sampan and explore the area by sampan boat that locals use to transfer around. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and green fruit garden on two sides. We will stop to visit local some workshops including pop-rice, rice-paper, coconut candy producing, honey tea, snake wine… to see how local people here utilize rice, coconut and other agriculture materials and turn them into delicious products.
The boat will then transfer you to a beautiful ancient house that still well preserved after many generations. You will be welcome by family members and the host will prepare the lunch for you. The host will also teach you how to cook “Banh Xeo” dish so you can join in cooking and make your own dish. Enjoy your lunch with authentic Vietnamese southern meals and learn more about Vietnamese family lifestyle and culture from the host.
After the lunch, we will then take your bike and start cycling around the village. The bicycle ride will take you around the village, introduce to you the genuine beautiful Vietnamese houses and community. It will be a great opportunity to take photos of this beautiful water land. If time permit, we will stop by a drying fruit factory and a local pagoda. The bike ride under peaceful canopy of this water lands will bring you a peaceful experience, shake off the busy lifestyle of city. Start driving back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at your hotel around 06.00 Pm. Overnight in hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnel (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
Cu Chi Tunnels, also called Iron Land, is a huge system of underground tunnels that stretched over 250 km. The network was like a secret city to supported war: storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, also included specially constructed living areas, command centers and innumerable of nightmare trap doors to defend itself. Visit Cu Chi Tunnel you'll be able to get an idea of what it would have been like to live, sleep and eat in the underground passages and bunkers during the fierce battles above and below the surface.
Around 8.00 Am, our guide and tour bus will pick you up from your hotel and depart to visit Cu Chi - a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps used during the war. You'll be able to get an idea of what it would have been like to live, sleep and eat in the underground passages and bunkers during the fierce battles above and below the surface. Return to the city for lunch at a tasty restaurant in the city centre.
In the afternoon, you'll discover the Reunification Palace - a blend of traditional ritual and modern architecture, served as the presidential palace of South Vietnam until reunification in 1975. The building now functions as a museum, offering tours of the former state rooms, presidential office and library, living quarters of the president's family, and underground war rooms. Then, you'll also visit the War Remnants Museum - one of the most sobering, yet popular, museums in the city. It highlights the suffering of the Vietnamese people at the hands of the French and American forces up to 1975, and while its perspective is less than perfectly balanced, its exhibits nonetheless are well designed and ably document the folly of war. You’ll find a collection of weapons, machinery, aircraft, tanks, artifacts and horrific photographs illustrating the devastating affects of napalm, Agent Orange and other weapons of mass destruction. Trip ends at your hotel around 5.30- 06.00 Pm.
Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport to take your night flight leaving Vietnam. End of services.
